Vision of Sorrow
A tryptichon of trinity inside of the dual world. This artwork is an extension of The Torn: Death Meditation.
Meditating on death I realize and see it before my inner eye. The seemingly endless whirl of things to do. I feel the despair, the burden, when I go into it. The black swamp I drown in if I let the walking mountain trample me into the mud. The cycle becomes a circle and melts into infinity. I can't. I can't do it all. I could not do it because there is always something growing back into the empty space and always will. Just as nature is reclaiming everything over time. Just as everything is being broken down over time. Mushrooms composting even the most gigantic tree stump.
My gaze exposes the toilsome and involuntary progress. You just can't lean against it.
Adhesions break down, making place and creating emptiness. A purified base for growth. Time melts everything. I want to be empty like a cup. Give up. And receive the great sea of binah!
I won't run anymore. All that ever happened, all that will ever happen - I stand here in this very moment - free!
Explanation of the Composition:
▼ The Top: The celestial firmament crowning as the sheer infinite source. Representation of Ain Soph. The divine infinity.
◐ Upper Left: Pole of Duality - Understanding (Binah) - the reconstruction and reflection, the understanding of reality and oneself. Understanding of time being an illusion. Living knowledge, the fertile ground for wisdom.
◓ Upper Left: Upper Trinity: Creation (Brahma) - the numinous starts to manifest itself, birth from the essence.
◓ Upper Middle: Upper Trinity: Preservation (Vishnu) - the status quo, the now and the perceivable world of the ten thousand things connected to the lower trinity.
◓ Upper Right: Upper Trinity: Destruction (Shiva) - the gnawing teeth of disintegration and time are consuming the existant to make room for the new.
◇ Top Phrase of 9+3 Words: There will be innumerable things to do until death. I am free.
▶ ▶ Center: Magick Square Sigil of Saturn merged with the Binah (BYNH) Path (H-8, N-50, Y-10, B-2). Binah is the intuitive understanding and contemplation. Processed wisdom or "Davar Mitoch Davar" - Understanding one idea from another idea. For me it is the penetration of the illusion of time. "The Spritiual Experience of Binah is the Vision of Sorrow (...). The Sorrow of the Vision has many levels of meaning. It does not mean merely a temporary emotional disturbance over some minor misfortune, but more an absolute and complete realisation of the road to be travelled, of all that will happen and that has happened along that road."
◑ Lower Right: Lower Trinity: Saraswati - the female power (shakti) of Brahma. Daughter of creation and goddess of wisdom. Her color is the white of purity.
◑ Lower Center: Lower Trinity: Lakshmi - the female power of Vishnu. Wealth and fertility, the worldly richness and multitude of impressions. The joy of being submerged in life but also the duality of getting lost in worldly matters.
◑ Lower Left: Lower Trinity: Parvati (Kali) - the female power of Shiva. Kali is the goddess of death and destruction, thus also of renewal. And in this case the destruction of the illusion of time inside oneself. So we can finally see there is no end to all the tasks and things happening to us and that's alright.
◒ Lower Right: Pole of Duality - Despair - the lostness in the recurring, never-ending cycle of the mind. Caged in the mind and unable to change reality. Stagnation and depression.
◇ Bottom Phrase of 9 Words: Peeling the delusive layers and discovering the black nothingness.
▲ The Bottom: Worldly fundament for the play we are part of and which enables our evolution. The bottom phrase is hebrew "Davar Mitoch Davar" - Understanding through Understanding.
Vision des Leids
Ein Tryptichon der Trinität innerhalb der dualen Welt. Dieses Kunstwerk ist eine Erweiterung von The Torn: Death Meditation.
Wenn ich über den Tod meditiere, erkenne ich ihn und sehe ihn vor meinem inneren Auge. Der anscheinend endlose Wirbel der Dinge, die zu tun sind. Ich spüre die Verzweiflung, die Last, wenn ich mich hineinbegebe. Der schwarze Sumpf, in dem ich ertrinke, wenn ich mich vom wandernden Berg in den Schlamm trampeln lasse. Der Kreislauf wird zu einem Kreis und schmilzt ins Unendliche. Ich kann nicht. Ich kann nicht alles. Ich konnte es nicht, weil immer etwas in den leeren Raum zurückwächst und es immer tun wird. So wie die Natur sich im Laufe der Zeit alles zurückerobert. So wie im Laufe der Zeit alles zerlegt wird. Pilze kompostieren selbst den gigantischsten Baumstumpf.
Mein Blick enthüllt das mühsame und unfreiwillige Fortschreiten. Dagegen kann man sich einfach nicht auflehnen.
Anhaftungen lösen sich auf, machen Platz und schaffen Leere. Ein gereinigter Nährboden für mein Wachstum. Aber die Zeit zerschmiltzt und zersetzt alles. Eigentlich möchte ich leer sein wie ein Krug. Aufgeben. Und das große Meer von Binah empfangen! Ich werde nicht mehr davonlaufen. Alles was jemals passiert ist, alles was jemals passieren wird – ich stehe hier in diesem Moment – frei!

◐ Oben links: Pol der Dualität - Verstehen (Binah) - die Rekonstruktion und Reflexion, das Verständnis der Realität und sich selbst. Das Verständnis von Zeit als Illusion. Lebendiges Wissen, der Nährboden für Weisheit.
◓ Oben links: Obere Dreifaltigkeit: Schöpfung (Brahma) – das Numinose beginnt sich zu manifestieren, Geburt aus der Essenz.
◓ Obere Mitte: Obere Dreifaltigkeit: Bewahrung (Vishnu) - der Status Quo, das Jetzt und die wahrnehmbare Welt der zehntausend Dinge, die mit der unteren Dreieinigkeit verbunden sind.
◓ Oben rechts: Obere Dreifaltigkeit: Zerstörung (Shiva) – die nagenden Zähne des Zerfalls und die Zeit zerstören das Existierende, um Platz für das Neue zu schaffen.
◇ Obere Phrase von 9 + 3 Wörtern: Es gibt unzählige Dinge zu tun bis zum Tod. Ich bin frei.
▶ ▶ Mitte: Magick Square Sigil von Saturn verschmolzen mit dem Binah (BYNH) Pfad (H-8, N-50, Y-10, B-2). Binah ist das intuitive Verstehen und Kontemplation. Umgesetzte Weisheit oder "Davar Mitoch Davar" - Verstehen einer Idee durch eine andere Idee. Für mich ist es das Durchdringen der Illusion der Zeit. "Die spirituelle Erfahrung von Binah ist die Vision des Kummers (...). Der Kummer der Vision hat viele Bedeutungsebenen. Es bedeutet nicht nur eine vorübergehende emotionale Störung über ein kleines Unglück, sondern mehr eine absolute und vollständige Realisation von dem Weg, den es zu beschreiten gilt, von allem, was passieren wird und was auf diesem Weg passiert ist."
◒ Unten Rechts: Untere Dreifaltigkeit: Saraswati - die weibliche Kraft (Shakti) von Brahma. Tochter der Schöpfung und Göttin der Weisheit. Ihre Farbe ist das Weiß der Reinheit.
◒ Untere Mitte: Untere Dreifaltigkeit: Lakshmi - die weibliche Kraft von Vishnu. Reichtum und Fruchtbarkeit, der weltliche Reichtum und die Vielzahl der Eindrücke. Die Freude, im Leben untergetaucht zu sein, aber auch die Dualität, sich in weltlichen Dingen zu verlieren.
◒ Unten links: Untere Dreifaltigkeit: Parvati (Kali) - die weibliche Kraft von Shiva. Kali ist die Göttin des Todes und der Zerstörung, also auch der Erneuerung. Und in diesem Fall die Zerstörung der Zeitillusion in sich selbst. So können wir endlich sehen, dass all unsere Aufgaben und Dinge, die uns passieren, kein Ende nehmen werden und dass es in Ordnung ist.
◑ Unten rechts: Pol der Dualität – Verzweiflung – die Verlorenheit im wiederkehrenden, nie endenden Kreislauf des Geistes. Eingesperrt im Kopf und nicht in der Lage, die Realität zu ändern. Stagnation und Depression.
◇ Untere Phrase der 9 Wörter: Die trügerischen Schichten ablösen und das schwarze Nichts entdecken.
▲ Der Fuß: Weltliche Grundlage für das Spiel, an dem wir beteiligt sind und das unsere Entwicklung ermöglicht. Der untere Satz ist hebräisch für "Davar Mitoch Davar" - Verstehen durch Verstehen.
